Meet the Executive Board

Harrison Reid
President
Harrison is a 4th year graduate student in the Jasti lab, where they make cyclic carbon molecules called nanohoops. Harrison focuses on incorporating these nanohoops into polymer architectures for electronic and biomedical applications.
He enjoys doing anything outside including hiking, camping, and more recently, running. He is also a proud cat dad to Kinsie.
Nick D’Antona
Vice President
Nick is a 4th year PhD student in the Boettcher lab studying the kinetics and mechanism of ion transfer at the interface between two immiscible electrolyte solutions. In his free time he enjoys cooking and playing the guitar, as well as fly fishing!

Jordan Rodriguez
Outreach Chair
Jordan is a second-year PhD student in Biology – Institute of Ecology and Evolution. Jordan is a part of the Kern-Ralph Co-lab. They run a completely computational (dry lab) workspace and
focus on Machine Learning & Population Genetics broadly, with a focus on methods development—meaning a mix of theory, software, and data analysis. Jordan is an avid gardener and lover of everything outdoors. They especially enjoy climbing, running, and getting beers with friends, and spending time with their cat!

Felice Gallegos
Social Media Chair
Felice is a 3rd year undergraduate student studying biochemistry. She conducts research in Boettcher lab focusing on anion exchange membranes and Irriduim dissolution in acidic and alkaline environments. Felice enjoys baking, running, soccer, and the beautiful sights Oregon has to offer!

Jessica Atencio
Jessica is a 4th year Human Physiology PhD student working in the Bowerman Sport Science Center in the Cardiovascular, Exercise, and Environmental physiology. She studies the cardiovascular, thermoregulatory, and immune responses to different passive heating modalities and the benefit of heat acclimation on protection from adverse heat events. Jessica loves surfing, snowboarding, hiking, running, and being outdoors!
